Transforming Postgraduate Research: Engaging with the Digital World was a one-day interactive training initiative for postgraduate students in the arts and humanities interested in public engagement and digital media. Held at the University of Oxford in June 2013, the day comprised of keynote lectures and practical workshops with experts in this field providing insights into using the digital. Students attending this event explored the value of digital engagement and how digital platforms can be used to enhance their academic profile and produce creative outputs.

Our blog aims to stimulate debate about how the public are engaging with arts and humanities subjects using digital means. We’ll regularly be highlighting projects, sharing resources, and presenting guest contributions to encourage discussion and best practice.

Our evolving collection of resources on digital humanities includes helpful tips, discussion and examples of digital projects in the humanities.

As #theC21scholar progresses, this collection will include podcasts and presentations from our events, as well as relevant materials from right across the world wide web. Graduate students, early career researchers and other interested parties can explore these resources for free.
